If you don't know, you would've passed this place up every single time you drive down Richmond.
But if you know, you know. This is by far the best roasted chicken I have ever had. The flavor is unbelievable, the meat is insanely juicy, and the sides are so good they can stand on their own (But why would you want to do that?).
The 9.99 1/4 lunch special with THREE sides is more than enough to hold you over. I usually get the red beans/rice (MIXED), chicken soup, and mashed potatoes. Don't sleep on the arepas though, they are a great compliment. And definitely do not forget the salsas offered, I stick with the thicker salsas as they stick to the chicken more than the traditional chimichurri.
The cravings are real with this place! -

Rotisserie chicken was on point. Rice was perfect. Salsa (red and green) both delicious. Black beans are black beans. Hush puppies were excellent.
Someone told me their tres leches cake is awesome. I went back to order some and the girl said they were all out. It must be really good. Maybe next time. -

Good, flavorful char broiled Colombian style chicken, good pricing, friendly cashiers and great amount of food for price. Usually we order ahead if we are short on time and they have everything ready to go. When we decide to eat in there is plenty of space and a good friendly atmosphere. There is plenty of parking, credit card payment or cash accepted.

Delicious food!!! The chicken has a crispy blackened layer on the outside and is soft and juicy on the inside. We tried a number of different sides such as fried yucca, mashed potatoes, red beans, and arepas. The red beans were to die for! The mashed potatoes had cilantro in them which was an amazing flavor combo. The fried yucca tasted the same as about any other place, but that's what I wanted so it is a good thing. They also have a nice variety of salsas to accompany your meal. There was a creamy green, creamy yellow, white garlic sauce, salsa verde, and salsa roja. I only tried the creamy green, creamy yellow, salsa roja, and garlic. I dipped the yucca in them and it was good. Definitely a good spot for comfort food. Both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will be back soon.
Update: I went here the other day and the owner was super nice! He gave my husband and I free samples of the cheese cassava (cheesy fried yuca sticks), sweet plantains, and a beef empanada. The cheese cassava is literally to die for. It had me and my husband fighting over who got the last piece! Then the beef empanada was packed with flavor. We are 100% sold on this place! -

I went to dodos yesterday and order half a chicken (white meat), fried Yuca, red beans, yellow rice. Sweet plantain, rice pudding, and tres leches! No! I wasn't eating alone lmao!
The chicken was very tender and moist! I wish it came seasoned more though, or a sauce to compliment it!
The yuca was for sure over cooked. It was very dry, I couldn't eat it :(
The yellow rice was delish! Well seasoned, and so were the red beans! Very good as well!
The sweet plantain taste like candy, with the crispy pieces in there...just how I like it!
The tres leches was okay, nothing special and the rice in the rice pudding could have been cooked a little longer!
For a quick bite to eat I may stop by again, but I'm glad I gave it a shot!
